Just a note to say my new baby was delivered today. It was an easy birth. Alot of paperwork and checking and the handing over of the cash etc but finally got to take it out of the garage to show it the outside world.:D

All I can say is WOW!!!!

S2000 was sacrificed for the "8"

I am finding it hard to get the roof down (lol) but they are similar in many ways, easy to stall, but the "8" revs alot quicker and is less thrashy. Its looking thirstier already but fuel was not a consideration as I have a diesel for normal use. To early yet.

My partner loves the "8" and adored the S2000 so it had alot to match up to. Biggest draw back with the Honda was lack of creature comforts (no clock) but it was basically a very well tuned go kart and if you treated it that way it would always put a smile on your face.

The "8" is well everything we were looking for:

Different, Fast, Four Seater, Gorgeous, £22k new, Yellow (love yellow). 18" wheels standard, Xerons, Well equiped, Six Speed etc etc.

As soon as I got in an "8" it has to driven fast, well not fast but on the pace and this was the same with my S2000. It just got a little tiring in the Honda. It is all new now but I hope I feel this way about the Mazda everytime I get in it and until something new comes on the horizon I'm staying with the "8"

Welp, I have that giddy feeling in my car EVERY time and it's been almost 6 months now.

Hell, even my fiance is starting to rumble about maybe we shouldnt get her that TT after all....

btw, I saw one of the yellow ones with the yellow insert seats -HOT! I don't think they are readily available though.

It's nice to see the Yellow 8 kicking around in England already! I am going over to Birmingham for a friend's wedding in April, and hopefully there will be lots of yellow 8s kicking around so I won't pine too much for mine. I wish that I could bring it with me, but it is sort of prohibitively expensive for a two week vacation . . . I guess.
