A S2000 vs Rx-8 thread...some of them doesn't seems to know much about Rx-8(don't know the difference between the two engine options) while some of them loves the car...
Your opinion as an owner?

Great link, from a great site where I've been registered for a long time ;)
It's a troll debate. Two totally different cars being compared, simple as that!
Ever sit in an S2000? Some of my friends can't even fit in them. But the call the RX8 "roomy". S2000 is a great roadster for two people!
Also vwvortex, the average poster is usually around 18 years old, fwiw.

Yes, as I have been a registered for quite sometime also (Dr Plastic and also on clubB5.com as PassatW8owner)
Just a bunch of trolls.
Syntrix you may have read my posts about my lemon law buy-back with my Passat W8.
With no intention to offend any VW owners, I had an '88 GLI (new), which was a screaming piece of junk for mechanical reliability. It had 11 recalls, died several times on the road starting at 14,000 miles, had constant problems of one sort or another, and I have sworn off the brand. I had a friend who bought a 1999 Jetta which had the entire exhaust system rot out, an exhaust manifold leak, which was never repaired by the dealer, and a rear door that was mis-hung and never repaired by the dealer, and all of that happened within his two year lease period in New Jersey (so it isn't like the weather conditions were worse than might be predicted for rust). Am I just getting exposed to bad VWs or is my opinion that these cars are over-rated supportable? I mean I can accept that I have just been exposed to bad examples of a great car, but right now, I can't see that. Any input?
