Hi Guys,
I need to buy the front and rear sway bars from the RX8 Auto. You probably upgraded to the sport/eibach bars and have the originals getting beat up on the garage floor? I do not want the much thicker/stiffer bars - just your wimpy "auto" bars with their bushings. I do not need the brackets. These auto bars have a dab of orange-red paint on them to distinguish them from other bars. The front bar is 25.4mm & rear is 15.9mm in diameter. If you have bars just slightly larger diameter ,I would be interested.
I am in Los Angeles and would prefer local pick up.
Thanks

I will have bars from an MT GT in about 2 weeks if you decide you want slightly stiffer. If you are still looking at that time send me a PM.

Hi
Thanks for your suggestion. I think the sport bars are 1.4mm thicker at the front and the same thickness at the rear compared to the stock auto bars. In other words yours are 26.8mm front and 15.9mm rear ??They have a dab of yellow paint to identify them?
Since you are conveniently located, this might be an interesting option.
Thanks for your suggestion.

well let me know I also have a buyer in San Diego but I would need to drive down there.. So you would be the Ideal option.

I'm Not positive on the thickness but they have the yellow dab.

I agree - a trip to San Diego makes no sense.

Correct the Yellow ones are a bit stiffier, I have had a couple customers in Texas buy the stock sport (yellow) sways and they are happy.

He originally wanted the ones with orange but told him to give the yellow a try.

You will love it.

Thanks for your input.
FYI, I'll be using these sway bars on a PRHT Miata. The convertible Miata needs the base auto bar (from what the forum says) so I am assuming the slightly heavier PRHT should use the slightly stiffer "sport" bars.

Thank you Chris ! Nothing like real world experience. The PRHT is heavier than the Miata convertible so it seemed reasonable to use a stiffer bar.
I appreciate you taking the time to help.
