Having issues with getting my AP to connect to my laptop. I have no idea how long it will take to get sorted. An easy fix would be just to get another computer. So if you have a carputer of which you wish to bet rid, or just a spare working laptop, let me know, I might take it off your hands.

You could always buy one of those eepc's from acer. they are cheap and tiny so you can keep it in your car.

 

not recommended to have a desktop hard drive though for one, finding a 400+ watt power supply for the car is the other issue. you dont need all the added graphics and sound cards and crap, but still the dual or quad core processor will require a lot more than what the car wants to support

It's the Acer One, not eepc. Different company but same Intel Atom processor. I had a One for 2 months before the motherboard crapped out. If you buy one of those cheap small computers, buy new so that you have the warranty. They break often.

 

This is temptin' but I dont know if I want to get that deep (i.e., have a carputer BUILT brand new). I appretiate the offer!

well i had to order a 250w m4atx power supply for my setup because im running a 3ghz p4 :P ... not the best carpc setup lol

so yea i have my m2atx power supply for sale for 50 bucks.. you will need it
