Well almost done, still have a few wires to clean up in the boot.
But computer is installed and running centerfuse front end.
Factory motorized Nav hood from the US installed with a new 7 inch touch screen replacing the factory screen.

Have, music, movies, blue tooth phone, full turn by turn GPS, internet via the phone data plan, ODBII scanning on the car and all it's sub systems running, instant weather updates, auto start up and shutdown of the computer when the car is turned off or on.

Will take some pics and try and post a short vid in a little while.

Music, sounds really good much better than the normal Bose system guess the output of the sound card into the Bose is driving it a little harder but it rocks much better than normal radio or CD.

Specs are I am using a mini atx board with a m2-atx dc to dc power converter. 2 ghz via processor 1 gig of ram. basically mine is pretty much the stock unit from mp3car.com bought a 7 inch touch screen off ebay from Hong Kong.

Biggest hassle was replacing the factory nav screen with the touch screen and then wiring up the factory harness for the tilt up and down. Then running all the wires under the center console and hooking everything up.

I have been working on this since last Nov gathering pieces here and there and testing them etc. Wife finally told me if I was going to spend $2k on this thing I damn well better put it in the car or put it on ebay, she was sick of looking at it> :lol2:

So I got on it and stuck it in there.

That is in AUD about 70 cents to a USD $.. So about $195.00 US.

That is awesome. It puts Nightrider to shame! I can't imagine how hard that would have been(I can't even extract the photos from my digital camera).

Great job.
What is the GPS software?

It is Oddyssey Navigator from http://www.twig.com.au
Tested the one that centerfuse sells and it had horrible directions.
This uses navteq maps and so far the directions have been very good.

How much did all the parts and software cost you. Can you post a DIY instruction list?

I will get something together in the next week or so as job time permits on the parts list and a small DIY on it.
