I have had multiple deals fall through w/ me within the past few weeks. I am really in need of some RX-8 wheels (w/ tires preferably). I have a huge meet coming up and I need to get these so I can get them powdercoated either black or a hade of gunmetal.

Can anyone help me out?

I know someone with the gunmetal shinkas... They were asking 800 plus shipping, but that was a couple of months ago.. if you are intersted let me know, I will contact them.

 

You know who I am I offered 4 wheels in really good coondition with 2 good tires for 400 bucks delivered. Everybody knows is a good deal. Not going to find for less than 300 Good luck!

 

Just out of curiosity, why is the market for stock rx8 wheels so big? I see stock rims going for 600, 800, even a grand or more. And not for the special edition rims either, just the plain old stock silver 04-08 wheels. Did 98% of rx8s not come stock with these, or am I missing something? I understand that now and then somebody with an rx7, mazda 3, 6, etc. might want to experiment with them, but that doesnt justify the big demand for them. Hell, they go for more than aftermarket rims usually do...so even if you buy a car with aftermarket rims and later want to sell it, it still does not seem worthwhile to turn around and buy a set of stockers at the price they go for, because you aren't going to reclaim any more money out of your aftermarket rims...unless you have something baller like some Volks.

Not shitting in the thread, just wondering if someone can clear this up for me as I've wondered about it for a long time.

+1. imho the RX8 oem looks good on the mazdaspeed3. Mazda should have used that same pattern (5 spoke) instead of the snowflake type.

 

I had the RX-8 wheels on my car before I crashed..... reason why I'm looking for some now... IMO they look sickkkkkk

I just sold my stockers to a guy who is putting them on his MS6. $600 bucks, I met him halfway from NJ.
