Thoughts on fake MS bodykit

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ107291868

I want to do this, but I don't want to spend $3000+ on a real MS kit. What would you do?

Your going to spend $1500 in body work to get it fitted and painted.

We have a "fake" MS kit and it doesn't fit worth a ****. I've installed the actual MS kits....well worth the money.

those guys are right. you get what you pay for. you'll be better off investing the money in authentic than paying the extra it will cost to try and make it fit and look good

And thats if you can find a body shop that will do the work. A lot of body shops wont even install aftermarket body kits.

Depending on the color of your car, color matching can be very difficult.

You're so jokes, I'm VISUALLY imagining you smashing the **** out of that bumper "for fun" with a nasty grin on your face and a psychotic laughter.

authentic is worth it because its prepainted, perfect fit, and you can easily install it in your driveway with hand tools.

Well.. I believe Kris has the VIS MSpeed kit. The kit itself is relatively cheap... his car looks great. I'm not sure how much it cost him to get painted / fitted though...
