Wow! I never realized there was a pouch in the back of the driver's seat. That opens all kinds of possibilities.

None on the passenger side. '06, cloth.

It all depends upon whether Capt'n Kangaroo inspected your car when it left the factory.

If you don't have one, you can just hang a shower caddy back there. Should be able to hook it onto the rotor emblem in the headrest.

05 Sport (Cloth Seats). I only have one and it is on the passenger side.

It makes sense to have it there because you can reach back and get something out of it while driving. Why on Earth would they put a pouch on the back of just the drivers seat. It makes it all but useless.

05 Grand Touring.......think I only have one and it's on the passenger side. It's where I keep my sun shade. Damn it......now I have to go look behind the driver's, but I'm pretty certain I only have one!

but then they would have picked one (at least I would think so). For those who have power seats, they can only put the switches to control them on one side... so obviously they have to design those to fit one side, which would only lead me to believe they would pick one side for the pouch (or both). The only reason I can see this is if there is some step in production that ends up applying to both sides of the seats without interfering. We/I would need to know more about the production order before we could know for sure if that would explain it. There has to be some kind of answer...

Not really, they mixed up the seat covers and then just threw them on.

yeah, but it seems to have gone on for multiple years with no pattern. Unless they just didnt care which side, I would assume they might try to keep it in a static position just to have consistency in the build.
