Does anyone have any first hand experience with 4-post garage lifts? Specifically, I am interested in the BendPak HD-9 series. We are getting a lift mainly for long term storage to free up garage space, but I figure if we have a lift, it can be useful for servicing cars as well.

My question is, does anyone ever use Jack Stands on a runway type lift like that? Or are the sliding bottle jacks platforms between the runways the only real option?
