I had to go on a 2 hour drive with my cat tonight, and my cat hates being in the car, so I get tranquilizers for her from the vet. So I give her a tranquilizer, which shes had before, and we go driving in the RX8. The first hour everything's fine. But I start getting bored, so I floor it - my cat totally blacks out. Then this weird foam stuff starts coming out of her mouth - I guess the G forces were too much. After like 15 minutes she was ok. This car's not for pussies.

Pure coincidence. The G forces under acceleration at high speed are insignificant when compared to those developed under braking or cornering. Unless your kitty goes comatose every time you turn or hit the skids, there must be another reason for the blackout. Given that she was foaming at the mouth, I'd suspect either an overdose or an alergic reaction to the medication.

Eccles is right... that was a bad (and potentially lethal) reaction that your cat had to the tranquilizer. TELL YOUR VET about this, and don't give that drug to the cat again until your vet's had a chance to examine her.

If your cat hates being in the car why do you take it anyway and use meds ? I'd leave the cat in the house if it were me.

The joke is Noahprtlnd. I'd like to see a pic of his "girlfriend," but I'm afraid to see it.
