I am getting sick of the same shots of "my new RX8" only to see the same shot over and over. Your shots are definitely nice to look at. way to go!!! hondas2k 12-16-2003, 12:45 PM Very nice shots! Kirk XDEEDUBBX 12-16-2003, 01:10 PM i think im going teary eyed English 12-16-2003, 01:44 PM voodoo...I had to outrun a policeman, so I hid out in the woods all night and was up early. Notice the straight strakes!! Finally got my sh** straight. 8_wannabe 12-16-2003, 02:07 PM very purdy fullets 12-16-2003, 03:47 PM wonderfull pics english and your black 8 look very cool at early morning jejeje y love that colour y wont one like yours but i don't have any money and y want too sell my renault megane coupe first jejeje eclps0 12-16-2003, 04:48 PM your black is sweet, love the pics of the sky in the car. sup3rbad 12-16-2003, 05:03 PM Originally posted by English voodoo...I had to outrun a policeman, so I hid out in the woods all night and was up early. at the risk of sounding gullible... really?? Greg 12-16-2003, 05:17 PM Ah yes pic number 2 highlights the factory orangepeel on the black wonderfully. I love how it seems they painted the hood and top with such wonderful precision and the rest is tropicana... English 12-16-2003, 05:29 PM No....no cops. What IS going on with the orangepeel paint there???? I was dreading someone would notice that...even though it gives the pic a neato Rembrandt touch. The doors do have a crazy texture in them.....There's a bit in the hood but none I can see on the trunk. Is there a way to clean that up??? does it just have to settle???? From what I was told, the car is just a few months off the line....does paint settle? Zaino gives it a glossy sheen, but if you look into it (like a close up photo), the texture is still visible. That picture is of the rear 1/4 panel...see gas can opening, and partial tire... anyone else have similar condition?? Greg 12-16-2003, 05:37 PM I said all that above because I have the same black rx8. I have noticed no settling. I have just come to get used to the orangepeel on a 30k car. I am disappointed though. English 12-16-2003, 07:21 PM Maybe it's more a Monet style.....but what can be done....sandpaper? Maybe I can cover it up with some slick graphix of flames. People would say "dude, your car's on fire." English 12-16-2003, 07:25 PM or not. Greg 12-16-2003, 07:26 PM dont cover it up its beautiful. I love it. It will be our little secret as rx8 owners. I don't think anyone else notices. English 12-16-2003, 07:35 PM OK, but don't go snakin' my photos and saying that it's your car. hahaha. But hey, don't confuse these with those winter shots posted in the other black, cold, cold thread.......brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Sin 12-17-2003, 12:44 AM Lots a black 8's lately...thanx for the pics!!! Greg 12-17-2003, 06:46 AM Ya it wouldn't work anyhow. I don't have the spoiler, wind deflector, or clear side markers. English 12-17-2003, 12:49 PM maybe a couple of accessories could fit into your stocking this holiday season!? English 12-19-2003, 10:43 PM Another wide shot... carnut 12-20-2003, 03:38 PM It looks like you skidded sideways to a stop on one of those photos. Do you have your own personal skidpad out there? Beautiful car and photos! English 01-03-2004, 02:13 PM The sun shines on my ricey grille.... English 01-03-2004, 02:14 PM ... ***edit*** it's in the mid-80's today....washed and zaino'd..... goin' out for a late new year's celebration.....hope everyone is happy up north!!!! Spring is just around the corner, guys!!! noahprtlnd 01-08-2004, 02:56 AM I have the orangepeel on my silver as well English 01-09-2004, 11:44 PM I want new paint. Anyone have thoughts? Maybe I should go to MAACO! TiRX8 01-10-2004, 12:24 AM I wonder what brand of paint Mazda uses? Is it Dupont, BASF, Glasorite, Spieshecker or something else? English 01-10-2004, 02:08 AM what do corvettes or ANY other fine autos offer in the way of paint? I bet it's the same jihaad for those guys. mqandil 01-10-2004, 02:55 AM Nice pictures english...I have been counting the days for a sunny warm day where I can wash my car and take some pictures.
