I had my fender lips rolled just to be safe, but I believe others have run this combination without rubbing. I would take a look at "The Will It Fit Thread" or the "Calling all Enkei Owners" thread for advice.

Doing a quick search, I found these posts:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...75#post2682407

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...75#post2460018

I also found this warning on Good-Win-Racing.com:
"NOTE the Falken Azenis Sport runs wider than most tires with the same size specs and fitting this big combo will take a little rear lip fender roll if your are lowered or not running much camber." -LINK: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...-1051RX8w.html

Hope that info helps.

Yeah sure; just use your credit card to pay me through PayPal.

I'm planning to run a few Renegade Miata events this year, so maybe I'll see you there.

They're not R comps..they're street tires. CLOSE to r comps, but still street tires. Essentially, given what he said, sounds like 25% left? Not bad in my opinion..maybe a event or two before you need to swap.

Correct; not an R compund, but very aggresive for street use. Falken describes them as a "Street Legal Motorsports" tire (http://www.falkentire.com/xhtml/tire...egory=2&tire=2).

25% tread remaining is probably about right, also.

Enkei RPO3 in an 18x9 +40 (http://www.enkei.com/rp03.html). The RPF1's are lighter, wider, and better looking (imho), but I need a 9" wheel to compete in STX autocross.

How much is shipping to Houston, TX 77003?

Edit: did a quick quote of one of the Enkei RPF1 packages 18x9.5 with Toyos from Good-Win-Racing and shipping is about $110 UPS ground shipping.

If this is close to the shipping from where you are, then I'm very interested. Going to PM you too.

Lots of interest, but no confirmed buyer. Price reduced to $925 for a quick sale.

Thanks,
