check out this auction that has been relisted, I thought but Mikeb stated it already was sold, anyway I posted it in Wheels, Tires, Suspension....made by cpracing in Toronto..looks pretty sturdy and if you like all the plastic adornments under the hood, they fit with this brace...i believe they make one for the rear as well..

but check out Racing Beat ..they have some thing i believe coming out eventually...

it's all in a matter of time, brother...

I'm interested in a rear strut tower brace, I'll probably stay with the stock one in the front.

for the JICs front struts, would i be able to put the engine cover back on while its placed? i read about how the engine will get hotter without the cover on.

CP Racing

My personal opinion on CP Racing is that their service isn't very good. No offense to people that might have had good business with them. But taking weeks on end to ship something out is obsurd. I know their really busy and all, but i've paid for a strut tower bar two weeks ago and i still haven't heard about them shipping it out. They don't even return my emails. The last email i got two weeks ago was payment recieved we will send you a tracking number when its shipped. I try calling, but never get through, i will update my situation with them later on. I'm just going to chargeback on my credit card and buy a JIC strut tower bar from VIVIDRACING i've had really good service with the salesman there.

while CP Racing might lack on service...i haven't bought from them so I can' t really have an opinion there...it is a four point strut brace which offers greater rigidity than what the 2 point cross bay strut braces offer.

I think if your looking for a more rigid bracing JIC really doesn't offer more than what has come on the car from the factory...as far as i've seen all the lines they offer are all 2 point cross braces not four point...so your really jsut spending $200 on a direct replacement of what is already there with no improvement but maybe a tiny weight decrease...that in my book doesn't warrant a $200 expenditure...

well...i just researched a little more on the JIC site and it looks as though "coming soon" that a brace is in the works...so then we should have a 4 point brace from them...which i will gladly forkout some $$ for that...

Talking CP Racing

Wow all of a sudden CP racing decided to email me maybe they read my post lol. They told me their whole shipment got mangled by UPS. That could somewhat happen i guess. Whatever i really like their design and its somewhat cheaper then JIC. Also thanks Xero for the info about how a regular 2 point would be the same as a stock one never really thought of it that way. I just wanted the carbon fiber look hehe :D Well i'll see how my CP racing strut tower goes i'll even post some pictures of it whenever i recieve it. So i'll keep you guys updated.
