My last rental was an auto Chevy HHR.

It was magical to watch the tachometer rise higher and higher followed by the faint sensation of acceleration a few minutes later.

if the 8 was a woman, the brake petal would be her clit and the tachometer would be her pussy.

kicking me when i'm down! that's a dick move!

hey, women are awesome... they really are. to be perfectly honest, i probably don't have any real sexual desire towards my car. however, pussy, as good as that is, does not satisfy me in the same way crisp braking and handling does. it's an apples an oranges thing.

Damn. I got brand new Nissan sentra for a rental. It had 19 miles and I was the first driver. Its not an 8, but its a heck of a lot better than some of the other rentals that I COULD have got.

2002 Chevy Malibu.

I swear that thing had 4 wheel independent steering, so independent that you could only give it suggestions and hope if takes the hint. It felt like sitting on a cheap couch that was rolling down hill with free spinning swivel wheels on all 4 corners.

If you go midsize (my company's standard), always ask for the Hyundai Sonata. It's V6 is ~240hp and has a very smooth torque curve it seems, the manual mode of it's slush box is actually fairly crisp, and while it doesn't have the handling our 8 does, at least it is actually fairly well balanced and responsive in the steering. No chance of it being an 8, but at least the pain is bearable for a few days.

^^^wow that made me laugh

Only time mazda gave me a rental it was a 2006 or so accord coupe 4cyl, it wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. so bland, so bland, hoped the coupe was better but it was just a 4 door with a diff skin.

They gave us a 2009 Chrysler Sebring when I crashed my mom's 2002 Honda Civic lol

The Sebring was fully loaded with leather seats, sunroof, satellite radio, etc; while the civic was the base model. Sucks cuz I couldn't drive it, being under 25. Now we got the civic back

i once had to take a neon for a week:icon_no2: no matter how far back you sit your right knee hits the center console, very annoying and just poor ergonomic engineering.

Look on the bright side. When you finally get to drive your 8 again, it will be a great feeling. Then you'll get carried away and total it.
