I got Tesla too....the reality is though the scientist i am most like is...me...its what im doing now.

Actually to tell the truth Tesla is pretty accurate, i've been modifying a lot of the experiments i'm doing to go in new directions and have about four or five offshoots currently going on that are independent of my main experiment. I'm figuring out how anesthetics work dammit! i plan on dying trying!

i am also Tesla.

Creative, manic, ahead of your time. Inventions and concepts pop into your head fully formed – no testing necessary. Not only that but your views of the future, while against conventional wisdom, always seem to be vindicated by history.

The original mad scientists, Teslas are not really all that practical. Sit back and watch as others make millions on your inventions and you die penniless. Good times! At least David Bowie will play you in the movies.

Stephen Hawking

Your seemingly insatiable appetite for knowledge has left you stranded in a chair all day. Your ability to speak monotonously in an attempt to educate people comes across as interesting yet boring in an almost robotic like fashion. You don't look like you know this much.

As with many other greats, write papers which help others to get rich off of your discoveries as your inability to do anything about it leaves you with no other options.

Tesla. Makes sense. It never looks like I have a clue what I'm doing, until I'm done and it actually works. I also like to work problems out in my head rather then through experimentation, why wait on hard data when you can follow a hunch?

Darwin...

Insightful, deductive, observant, but also very much a procrastinating homebody. This kind of scientist knows his or her great work is sitting on the desk waiting, but still gets distracted by barnacles for 20 years. A loving husband and doting father, Darwin was always trying to reconcile his desire for a quiet life with his enormous brain.
