Registration is now open for this event. It is not as cheap as an Auto X, but bang for the buck... it can't be beat.


There are some issues I should address..
1.) You must have a NASA Pro Racing Membership
This Membership is only $35 per year and gives you a subscription to
Grassroots Racing Magazine (it's worth it just for the subscription)

2.) Anyone not having an SCCA/NASA/Other Race/Solo license is required to take the class/instructor

3.) There are few Instructors and only one student per instructor. Therefore the time is of the essence in order to save a position for yourselves.


Sebring is an amazing track and this event will use the long track so expect some very high speeds and new brake pads when you're done. For those of you that have never been to Sebring, there is a very nice Hotel/Spa (great way to convince the better half to go) on site.

They usually give discounts for these events so you may want to make a weekend of it.

Forget the license, You would need to attend a 3 day school such as Justin Bell's or Skip Barber ($3000+) to get it.

You will be given an instructor there (for those who don't have a license). You will also need a SNELL 95 or newer Helmet and you need to wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed shoes.

Just Came back from Sebring. I ran my 8 Saturday on the track. I hit 1000 miles while I was at this event. The car handles great. It rides much like the Z06, but with much less acceleration on the straights. The brakes need an upgrade to do track events like this though. I had to go easy on them. when I started going deep into the turns I felt them starting to fade. Overall the car was easily tossable in the turns and stable on the straits. 2nd 3rd and 4th gears were the only gears I was able to use. I might have been able to tack out 5th on the back strait if I had another set of brake pads.
