Hello all,

I have an A/T with about 3500 miles. I have noticed twice now a smell like that of burning rubber near the driver's side rear quarter. I smelled this after shutting down the car in my garage. Has anyone else noticed this? Should I be concerned?

Where you doing a lot of hard cornering before shutting your car off?

I've got an A/T with 4,100 miles. I've never noticed any unusual burning smells at all after the first couple hundred miles.

If you have changed the oil recently, you could have dripped some oil that's burning off hot engine parts.

Yes, I have smelled rubber after a spirited drive around some corners. I believe it is just the tires melting.:D

It probably is your brakes or oil. The Renesis does burn oil
