Are you guys using a more up to date internet surfing software, try down loading the lastest software to your OS, ie. interenet explorer. see if it help.

No luck so far. I have had the same problem mentioned above, but only sometimes. In the "I hate to perpetuate stereotypes" thread, I don't see a thing!

This has been discussed in one or two threads before - it's a bug with the programming of this site, but no one here seems to want to even acknowledge it. I think it's related to their method of displaying the banner images and ads, but I'm no web programmer. What happens is when you first connect to this site, images display fine, but after viewing one thread, or maybe 10 threads, then the images no longer display. If you close your browser sessions, restart your browser, the same thread will display fine (for a while). It happens with Internet Explorer, used by 90% of the world, and I've only ever seen it happen on this site. You'll notice when it's failed, that there will be a status line at the bottom of the window saying something like "(13 items remaining) Downloading picture htto://www.rx8club.com/hybrid/Left_image4.jpg..." (How do I know exactly? It's happening to me right now!)
It's repeatable on completely different computers running different versions of OS, it's unique to this site here, but the problem has been happening for several months.

Gordon

Also, if you have that problem here and surf to another site you won't be able to see their pix either. Solution is to shut all IE windows, then relaunch, go to your other website without visiting this one first. many of us have all the IE patches and it doesn't help.

Thanks, you guys! I knew it was something beyond my level of comprehension, so I appreciate the explanations!
