If i thought of those numbers i would always get bad shifts, lol. I do it all from feel and sound and i am usually pretty close, even when skipping a gear. i usually keep it safe and rev just below were the next will engage when down shifting so i get a very small engine brake....hate the feeling when you miss high lol.
