All I've done is tire switches with mine. So if you're staying under 150 ft lb's, here's the one I have.

I also have a similar Craftsman that I've been happy with.

I bought a Crafstman every year (broke the square tip off after a few months), until someone recommended a Snap-On. I have had it 5 years, and it is indestructable.

Doesn't Crafstman have a lifetime warranty on hand tools? As far as I remember, you don't need a reciept or anything.

EVERYTHING bearing the "Craftsman" name will have a lifetime warrantee, no questions asked.
I get a new socket wrench every year, as I abuse mine quite badly.
They replaced my smaller torque wrench a few years back as well.
I return sockets and stuff from time to time.
The Craftsman warrantee has no small print.

I use to get away with that as well, but finally they got a manager who could read. All Crafstman HAND TOOLS are guaranteed forever, any tool with a "precision" mechanism is not.

Scroll the pages at Sears.com and notice that on ratchets and such, the "Guaranteed Forever" is suspiciously missing, but on hammers, wrenches, sockets, etc., it is prominently displayed.

hi oosik,

I've had my Craftsman torque wrench for years and never had a problem with it.

How do you keep and get yours calibrated ?

thanks,
