WHealy 12-13-2003, 06:29 PM All I've done is tire switches with mine. So if you're staying under 150 ft lb's, here's the one I have. (http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00944595000) mamccubbin 12-13-2003, 06:40 PM I also have a similar Craftsman that I've been happy with. brillo 12-16-2003, 08:41 AM anyone have anything against craftsman? I thnk I'm going to get two of them as they are one sale for $50 I bought a Crafstman every year (broke the square tip off after a few months), until someone recommended a Snap-On. I have had it 5 years, and it is indestructable. guy321 12-16-2003, 11:04 AM Originally posted by tpryor I bought a Crafstman every year (broke the square tip off after a few months), until someone recommended a Snap-On. As far as I remember, you don't need a reciept or anything. brillo 12-16-2003, 11:06 AM not on specialty tools. MazdaManiac 12-16-2003, 11:22 AM EVERYTHING bearing the "Craftsman" name will have a lifetime warrantee, no questions asked. I get a new socket wrench every year, as I abuse mine quite badly. They replaced my smaller torque wrench a few years back as well. I return sockets and stuff from time to time. The Craftsman warrantee has no small print. tpryor 12-16-2003, 11:43 AM Originally posted by Maniac EVERYTHING bearing the "Craftsman" name will have a lifetime warrantee, no questions asked. The Craftsman warrantee has no small print. I use to get away with that as well, but finally they got a manager who could read. All Crafstman HAND TOOLS are guaranteed forever, any tool with a "precision" mechanism is not. Scroll the pages at Sears.com and notice that on ratchets and such, the "Guaranteed Forever" is suspiciously missing, but on hammers, wrenches, sockets, etc., it is prominently displayed. wakeech 12-16-2003, 02:23 PM ...then wtf are you doing telling everyone else??? ;) shhhh!!! oosik 12-16-2003, 10:27 PM just keep them calibrated and try not to drop them...... rabinabo 12-16-2003, 10:57 PM ...and for chrissakes' don't ever use it as a hammer :) rx8cited 12-18-2003, 06:04 AM Originally posted by oosik just keep them calibrated hi oosik, I've had my Craftsman torque wrench for years and never had a problem with it.
