Stock rims are 8" wide and 245 is really the widest you should consider.
However, 245's also require a 40 aspect ratio (sidewall profile) to avoid fender rubbing.
255's (and on up to 275's) require a 35 profile and also non-stock 18x9.5 rim.
All above on stock suspension height. If you lower your suspension you'll have to further adjust to avoid rubbing by fender rolling and/or even lower profiles tires for a given tread width.

Nitto NT555 245/40-18
Thanks for all the comments. Any one running Nitto NT555 245/40ZR-18? They are the right price and apparently will fit on my stock rim. Again, appreciate any comments.
