I am getting an AccessPort to do 3 things and was wondering if AccessTuner would allow me to do these:
1. CEL from no cat (can I program what CEL's turn the light on?)
2. FAN control (can I tell the ECU when to turn on the fans? Try to keep temp at 180 deg?)
3. OMP flow (can I change the flow amount?)
Thanks in advance.

why in the world would you open a new thread for this?

Ok, so personally you guys have done these settings? Or had someone else do it for you and you used the AccessPort to load that map done by someone else?
I know MM can get you a map with these things, the answer I am looking for is if *ANYBODY* downloading the software can modify a stock map (not locked) and turn the CEL off for any given code, change the temp the fans come on at a given temp and change the oil metering pump settings.
AGAIN, not just load a map that have the changes, but to do the changes yourself with the beta software out.

The fan on temp and CEL removal is pretty easy. The OMP is a bit more involved since you have to alter it throughout the load and rpm range.

Hmmm, ok. But there is a value that you change on certain maps (that being the load/rpm maps?)
Have you had hands on experience and would like to share to the rest of us? :)
Before I go out and buy the AP I would like to know that this is possible with the software out there, and not buy an expensive lightweight paperweight ;)
The Hymee thing, where do I get more info and/or how does it work? Does it come with software and instructions on how to change these 3 things?

You can actually download the RaceTuner Beta software for the AccessPort and see exactly what it offers and play with the different tables. http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=4214
But yeah, I took a look at it the other day and the tuning looks complicated (to me), but changing the cels, fan trigger temps, and OMP isn't too bad. I'd think that the easiest thing to do for the OMP would be to decide how much you want to increase it and change all the numbers by that percentage - I don't really know if that is ideal though.
Also, looks like OMP rate has two tables: Load (by RPM), and Throttle (by RPM).

CEL's are just a toggle for each. Fan temps are a single number to change for each. OMP is a pretty basic map.

would like to repeat what others have said... all of the things you asked about are easy to do with the base COBB maps.

Nice. Thanks. I will be getting one shortly (AP) I still use Interceptor-X as my fuel management and the close to stock as possible the better, Int-X is not TRUE independent, it still needs the stock ECU.

Nobody has both OMP maps at their best? Wow... C'mon fellow RX8 owners, share the knowledge...

I don't think many people have really messed with it individually..
