A friend has them on his C6. He speaks favorably of them compared to the stock tires on that car. I've been considering them myself for the spring...

thats pretty relative considering that the C6s come with Eagle F1 runflats which are pretty poor for tracking and performance/spirited runs...

i looked at them hard, as i am a big fan of kumho.. i think i have been using kumhos for over 10 years on different cars.

ended up going with the dunlop star specs. it was a review thing.. btw, my track instructor that also runs tt in a rx8, loved the dunlops..

beers

Our Snap-On driver has mentioned that a few guys in his Viper club track these and like them more than the Pilot Cups... with that recommendation I'd say these are pretty bad *** tires.

I am considering these. Also looking into the new Nitto NT-05
Coming off of the Dunlop z1's -which will be very hard to beat.

thanks. i currently have Tein S-Tech springs with 19x8"/19x9.5" Axis Matrix wheels and Toyo Proxes T1R. i'll be switching to 18x10.5" SSR GT2-H wheels with these tires hopefully.

thats awesome bro! i cant wait to see when you put your new rims on! what are you goin to do with the rims you have on it now?! just curious. as you can prolly tell, im newer to the rx8 scene, im thinkin about upgrading my rims first but wondering about clearance issues if i lower my ride. its a daily driver so i gotta be careful lowering it too much but i know coils are nice because i can adjust them. thanks a ton bro!

Yeah.. Old z1 on the back.. now completly bald. Newer ones on the front.
The fronts do still have some life. But I may replace the whole set & keep the fronts as "spares"
