Hi everyone!
I'm selling my Shine Auto Project Burnout Type II front lip only now. Sides and rears were sold to RXocho. $250 and delivered in SoCal or Phoenix, AZ.

Photos of the kit can be seen here: http://www.modified.com/sportculture/sportculture_feature01_0901.html These are the actual pieces you'd be receiving, minus the giant wing. The wing is not included. I'm just going in a different direction with the car in 2009... more utilitarian and less flash.

Send me a PM or email on here and I'll reply back.

I should really come to California, trade my interior in SLO, then come get that. Too bad I don't have any money. BUMP for the kit of my dreams.

Hey, there are lots of guys on here with great 8s! I'm cetainly not the only one. They stuff I had to leave out of that article would fill a book (nearly). It's very hard getting a concise story together in just 1500 words!

I went and stored my 19" wheels. My wing is in the rafters in my garage. I've got a set of stock wheels on it, with stock tires, over my Wilwood/TCE Performance Products brake kit. My car usually generated a LOT of attention, and if the economy gets really bad, I don't need someone stealing it for the parts while I'm out in LA on assignment. Of course I'm hoping that the economy doesn't completely bomb to the point where people are car-jacking nice RX-8s. I carry my camera equipment in my car and I'm just being cautious. I'd go around armed, but in People's Socialist Republic of Kalifornia, I'm simply not allowed to do that. Bummer.

RX Ocho is buying the sides and rears so I'll still have the front lip if I want to run it on track days.

BTW-Although the "appearance" has changed, my car is still damn fast! LOL :)

I'm considering selling it, yes. It's not on the car, and hasn't been for a while, as I've been driving around with just the side skirts and rear pieces on my RX-8. Was doing that to keep the front lip looking as nice as possible, but eventually just couldn't stand it that way any longer.

I think I'm just going to sell this lip, and buy an OEM front lip, and run it that way with no sides or rear pieces. Just the front lip. I've got a new baby in the house here and that sort of re-priortizes one's life in new and unexpected ways.

$250 The paint on the front lip is in nicer shape than on the side skirts. I've used the front lip much less.

I should have just left the whole kit flat black. I'm too much of a perfectionist to tolerate rock chips. <sigh> And out here, we seem to have nothing but rock chips from the crappy roads I have to drive on!

$225 shipped?
No... and why would you want a red one anyway? It would be less effort for you to buy a brand new one from Shine. You can't simply spray black over red you know.

Shine is $250 shipped and I did not think prep work would cost that much more. Anyway good luck with your sale :)
