post your review of this movie!

i thought it was absolutely hilarious. the acting and the lines were so atrocious at times there is no way its not on purpose. samuel l blackson was just ridiculous. "I DONT LIKE RUNNY EGGS ON MY FACE!" jesus christ, wtf? hahah. i swear that movie had me cracking up the entire length of the movie. "C'MON! TOILETS ARE ALWAYS FUNNY!" SLJ said the funniest things in that movie. and the scene with the spirit tied up. omg, so funny im not even going to into further detail. haha, "ACHTUNG!" lololol.

and of course, the women. oh my god. so beautiful. even the teen version of sand serif, total jailbait. (i yelled that out and the 12 other people in the movie theater cracked the eff on up.) when eva mendez dropped her towel and i saw that BEAUTIFUL ASS of hers i swear i think i died a little. that scene went by far too quickly. dear lord, is i in heaven? every single woman (except the police woman, but im sure thats just how she was portrayed) in that movie was ridiculously hot.

beautiful women, incredibly lame lines, over the top fight scenes, eva mendez' ass,... i dont think i'd see it again (i saw pineapple express 3x in the theaters) but i dont regret seeing it once.

its not an action/drama movie like sin city. its a comedy and its hilarious.

edit: i found a review that is quite accurate and reflects my own beliefs of the movie as well. its titled: At Least Eva Mendes Looked Hot: “The Spirit” Review

My friend hated it and i do see its many faults. If you do watch it, don't take the movie seriously at all. I enjoyed it a little because I treated it more as a parody. I just cant take Samuel L Jackson after Snakes on a Plane so I didn't take the movie as such.

Spirit was based on an old 1940s-50 comic book which was a spoof on the Shadow and other superhero comix. The girls were always over the top, the lines usually a satire on other comic book lines, and the Spirits powers always a little questionable...

The author was a New Yorker so there was all sort of insider visual jokes and a very dark humour for the time...

Sounds from the reviews like it was pretty true to its origin...

Its a horrible movie but its based on a olddd old comic. I can understand why they would talk like that but the movie is just bad.

I have been trying to get out, but I've been so busy trying to ge the seat belt repaired that I just get to see what's playing....I kinda want to see Twilight - figure it's a teeny bopper chick flick but I did read the book ...

I bet Spirit used the old original dialog so it would sound almost like a foreign language to the current generation....

And the super weapon of choice would be an oversized hand gun!
