Meyer Motorsports #30 Koni Sports Car Challenge ST RX8. Driver is Payton Wilson. We ran 2nd and 3rd fastest on two different days and were the fastest RX8 of the weekend.

Look closely at the beginning of the vid and you'll see the path the cars take to get to pit lane, the drive down pit lane and the big gnarly pit lane exit to the track.

The roll speed through the bus stop is approx 87 mph---very fun.

I'm putting new cams in the car so the race footage should be pretty good.

I think low 140's coming into T1. 133 I think entering the bus stop, brake to about 87 and exit about 90. One of the things you do to see how fast your boogie'n is peak down at the mph or tach to see your run OUT of the corner. Exit speed is the key. I'll take a look and confim. I remember seeing 142 however for somereason I think it's higher.

 

Wow, you deff were able to carry a lot of speed through turns 9 and 10...

Looking forward to it. We are relocating our chase cams to get better footage. Apparently there is conflict with the dark interior and the bright exterior that makes it difficult for the camera to do it's stuff. Will be fixed and have better vid after the race.

That's some good footage Eric. I got a couple DVD's worth of footage from last year. I wish I could make it down to Daytona some time and get a feel for the track.
