There were so rude to me, man talk about pms. I asked if Mazda is coming out with a reflash and the lady was being a bitch (don’t mind the French here). I was polite, I wasn’t demanding she could have at least given me some respect and am willing to help me.

Sorry venting

Report the peon to her bosses, or even better to corporate HQ.

Perhaps she's tired of getting calls from people telling her the car is slow and stupid and asking when they're going to fix it. I haven't read anything about Mazda "fixing" this supposed hp "problem," so maybe they're just tired of hearing about it. I know I would be. You know tons of people have to be doing that, just to get a rise out of Mazda.

But I'm sorry you had a bad experience anyway. Bad customer service sucks.

It seems like all car customer service reps will tell you to go talk to your dealer as an answer to any question. I do not think they comprehend that the reason you are calling them is because you can not get an answer from your dealer. I do not even bother to call them.

I had a great experience upon my call to them. They listened, documented everything, told me what they were going to do with the case, provided me a case number, asked me to call back with updates throughout my ordeal, and gave me Mazda dollars for my inconvience. I felt the call was well worth the time. And, the documentation was an important step if I have to invoke the Lemon Law.

Good for you, Zeltar! I hope your experience is the usual experience and not the exception. I'll bet you were very courteous on the phone. As you have read here, that doesn't necessarily guarantee good service, but it has to help.
