despite the fact that i beleive im perfect

my resolution is to take some actual vacation time this year and do some traveling. i said i want to see a big chunk of canada and some the US before i get on a plane to another continent. i figure this year is a good year to tackle eastern canada and some of the northeastern US.

Greg

Edit: So i started my resolution today. I spent 6hrs in my rx8. started in guelph, hit burlington, oakville, ended up on the east side of toronto and decided to come back after that. only using the major (ly boring) highways to come back. im very confident in the comfort of this car on long drives now. im not sore at all after six hours. may be partially to the blown strut in the front. makes for a soft ride. haha.

Smoke MORE cigars ...
Shoot MORE guns ...
Get my FD running and do lots of lapping days ...

And most importantly, have absolutely NOTHING to do with women for the entire year.

This may sound weird.......but go to a head shop and buy a cleansing kit for 80-100 dollars. Usually they are 7 day things. If you think about it, if you are successful with removing the toxins out of your body and quitting, it will cost you less than a months worth of smokes. Start this on a weekend though. When I say it will cleanse you I mean it will clean out your system. You may find that having a bathroom handy often is in your favor.

I realized one thing that made it easier as well after 20+ years. Its a choice not to buy them or smoke them and its also just a habit, something to do with my hands when I'm bored.. Find something else.

For me, if I don't smoke I can work harder at the gym, get into better shape and bust out on my 45th birthday! I plan on enjoying it! I'm hopefully also headed to Cairo in October. I'd like to be in good shape to do some exploring while there.

I don't have a New Years resolution, I think they're a little stupid. If I want to do something, I'll just do it, I'm not going to wait until January 1st to start.

That said, I'm currently working on learning Spanish.

I am going to get the seat belt harness fixed in the old Red Car.
I am going to get the heater fixed in the Blue 8 (and it will probably be done about the time the air conditioning is required - we got the air conditioning working just in time for winter!
I am not getting another ticket for speeding!
I am going to get back into the fitness thing, because I don't want to jiggle when I giggle!

I belive if you want to do it , then do it. Dont talk about it. Do it.

But yes Goals are very important. Both long term and short term. I guess I just dont like the word resolution.

I finally did the first workout for P90X...man it's pretty hard. I couldn't keep up with the ppl in the video...but it has been a while since I've worked out. I found I was doing about half of what they were doing

heh - i actually had two reso's this year...

1. was spend more money on my car - check (got my wheels back on, w/tires complimentary of Roariee and the rest of my kit is due before june)

and

2. Not to get any more tickets. - and if i do, keep it below 2 tickets this year. SO FAR SO GOOD! :fingersx:

Atilla
04-30-2009, 09:52 AM
Fera's - that's 52lbs each arm right? That's pretty damn impressive if so. I can do about the same but i'm pretty much burned after a set or 2.

Unless that's 105 each arm....then that's just ridiculous......that's like curling small asian women...
