Anyone know when the 2005's are coming out? I am going to get one but not sure if I should wait or not. I want to see if they are going to come out with a MS package :cool:

no idea. as far as MS package they are releasing a special edition one in japan next year i believe which comes in dark blue and is factory equipped with the MS kit.

you can make your own ms rx8 with all the assecories from japan

In Canada the new 2005's are coming as of Sept. (from what the dealer tells me)

its called selfishness thats the way the Japaneese are with there special cars. they have to let all their people buy them up before the americans and others are good enough to own them.

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've read today, thanks for making me and others reading your post just a bit more stupid for having read it. I hope you're not serious when you said "selfishness" on the Japanese part. If they were trully selfish, we wouldn't even have the 8 here in the states. It's called marketing, they want to test a smaller market before releasing it to the rest of the world in case it doesn't sell out. Not everyone can/will fork out 40k+ for body kits and engine upgrades when they can basically spend 30k or so without those things.

Good, I was planning on buying a RX-8 in the summer of 04. I'll look into the '05 models.

I think I'll wait for the '05 models too. I wounder when they are going to come out with the spec's

one dealer i went to last week told me that buildout on the '04 model is done and any new orders (not already on the production line) would be the '05 model. personally i dont believe him. i think he was just trying to work me for more money since he couldnt sell me something that was already on his lot (he had 20+ rx8's).

yeah, why not you guys can get it from japan but i am talking about ms pakage in usa.
i asked dealer yesterday and they were saying ms for rx-8 might come to usa in 2 years but they were saying it is going to be here more likely after two years.
