The RX-8 is doing well downunder, too
First two motoring organisations -- the NRMA and RACV -- have judged the RX-8 equal with the Sub WRX as "Best Sports Car Under $(AUD)57,000"

The Brisbane (Queensland state capital) major newspaper The Courier Mail has awarded the RX-8 its Car Of The Year

And we are all waiting on what is regarded as Australia's most prestigious award - Wheels magazine's COTY -- to see if the 8 wins there. There have been rumours a number of the judges are known to have pulled out their cheque books and purchased an 8 for their own use, but that would never be an influential factor ;)
