I can provide a 3 rotor today for $5600. I've seen a bone stock unit make 280 without it's turbo and with no internal modifications. 300 to 350 would be quite easy with a mild street port. They make upward of 450 when peripheral ported (NA).

I wish I was closer and I'd stop by with beer for free... I also just sold 2 3 rotors (spares to my last car) for about 15k each cause i needed the money. I'll be honest. I am waiting for the 16x to throw that in my 8 ... I have seen an * with a FD 3 rotor in it and it was a sweet sweet ride. I believe he moved the battery to the trunk, beefed up the firewall, and got the canister trio. I don't know why but there was a reason... I think it moved other things out of the way to facilitate installation....

yeah, i sold the 3 rotor that came as a spare for my rx8. mazda just put it in the trunk and said if i had problems with my current motor i should just swap it for that one.

i sold it for like, $26,000.

i'll tell you what, jae is less than 30 years old and he cannot afford a 20b. in fact, he cannot afford to spend 10k on mods for his car, seeing as how he recently bought the car and is tapped out money wise.

he wants to know for future dreaming. and thats all fine and dandy, but for questions that have no real serious future, he can look around on the net. if he could afford to a 20b, he'd also know the right people to contact. if he could afford a 20b, the first place he would have taken his car is a tuning shop and had it turbocharged, kitted, rims/tires, and tuned.

but the fact of the matter is that he is dreaming. and thats nice and all, but im just trying to put some reality in him. its not going to happen. you can count the number of non-race 20b rx8s in the entire usa on your hands.

as soon as he buys a 20b or shows that he is real about his questions he'll have my full attention.

honestly, questions like this get asked EVERY week. you just dont see it, because you havent been here enough. the same damn answers are posted every week. it would have taken 5 seconds of searching this forum to find out.

honestly.. who considers buying an engine without knowing the full specs of it?....

he could have researched the modding potential and the stock specs on google. it would have taken him 5 seconds to hit search and he would have had enough material to read for days.

I have a 11sec GRAND PRIX ! 4th Motor and my 3rd tranny. Im only 20. On top of that i have a GTO.

Dont talk about ppl you dont kno.

How are you so sure he hasent saved his ass off and wants to do everything himself.

I mean i did all my motor swaps bymyself with very little help. I also built my L67 motor and ported/polished heads.
