ok lets pretend we don't know you or your car. lets also pretend you know your car.

first give us some info. how long you have had your car for instance. if this noise has persisted since you first got your car or if its just started recently would be good things to know.

has anyone else heard it? you 'd be surprised how important that is.

also if your car is stock or has had any modifications done to it would help.

also have you looked around at other noise threads and did you find any that seemed like yours? didn't find any that seemed like yours? haven't looked?

Having had a AT and a MT I will say this; Sometimes when you drive your car in low gears from about 35-45mph and let off the gas you will hear the engine or tranny win. Its a Rotary so you hear zzzzzzzzz or woooooooo unlike a piston car you hear tatatatatatatatatata :lol2:

Seems like were not getting much info from the OP, but most are headed towards this only happens at initial start up(if you will) and likely to be the air pump??????
