I have the stock polished wheels (they look chrome to a camera) as my street wheels. Pictures (before and after) are at the linkin the signature.

Thanks, how much did they cost, if you don't mind me asking. I have heard all sorts of prices. So they are actually polished aluminum? There is a big difference between p.a. and true chrome. They look true chrome.

They are $390 apiece from Rosenthal Mazda (and any good dealer will sell them for very close to that) with free shipping.

The only two differences between the polished Mazda wheel and the chrome Mazda wheel are:

1. The polished is much lighter
2. The polished wheel has been discontinued in favor of the chrome.

I bought mine from an individual back in August, before there was a chrome version. If you wanted the polished, you might want to start calling, because it was limited to what they have in the warehouse. Then, the only available wheel will be the chrome.

So the stock 18" are painted aluminum. There used to be a polished option, and now it is replaced with a chrome option. Did I get that right?

I think I like true chrome better, although I would need to see them both on a yellow car. I honestly can't tell the difference by just looking at your pictures.

So does anyone have a yellow '8 with polished rims, that could throw a pic up? I'm curious to see how they look together...
