Mods with a warrenty?

I went to madza today because i wanted compression test on my engine cause i thought my warrenty was a day from going out(turned out i had a extention on my warrentythat mazda added with no cost with a 96month/100,000 mile for engine core.) so i then asked about what aftermarket addons would void my warrenty on my car because i had already planned on buying stuff for my car soon sence i thought i had no warrenty on the car.

The guy then told me about how if it didnt cause the prob then it would not void it(witch i could see an arguement coming when i had a problem and what was to fault) but then a maintnce guy told me that i could go through mazda and get aftermarket parts for the car that would not void my warrenty(other than mazdaspeed) and i never heard of it and then he even said that you could FI the car though mazda and he said a guy in my area(pensacola FL) that had a Supercharger that he put on with out voiding the warrenty by goin through mazda.

But one thing he also said was mazda even made turbos and superchargers for the car that i could buy. witch i still dont believe.

1) can you go throught mazda and get any aftermarket part without voiding the warrenty
2) does mazda make anthing FI for the car?

1) Sorta...as long as it didn't cause the damage to your car then your warranty is fine. So if you install your turbo and your radio goes bad you are fine. But if you install your turbo and run 30 psi and blow your engine...no...your warranty won't do ****.

2) Mazda doesn't do any aftermarket parts from what I know. They buy everything from someone else and slap their label on it.

yup thats about right,,, its all up to the dealer you have, but remember if you go in with some broken aftermaket parts its not thier responcibility to be familiar with them... Never heard of Mazda seeling parts other than whats under thier MS branding???
Ive got a SC'd 8 and am lucky enough to have a reasonable service department at the dealership I go to as well...

Yep just depends on your dealership. My dealership has never said anything about my exhaust or intake. I've had quite a few employees at the dealership say they love how it sounds and its lowered stance.
