I perfer to build mine as I get satisfaction out of working with my hands!

I have the Type S kit. The interior sucks, needs alot of work, but as long as you do not look underneath it is pretty accurate externaly.

I hear ya! but if ya need an 8 in your collection then it is a quick and easy project. I build for competition on a national/international level (IPMS) and this is what we national judges call a "Curbside" model. No chassis, engine or interior detail. You are just judging the exterior of the car. I occasionaly build a really easy project to wind down from the 3 year projects that I work on.

hey Rotary Nut, I'm not sure if it is out yet, but Tamiya makes static models as well, (besides R/C) that is so detailed you would think it was the real thing!
