Can someone shed some light on the Moderators on this forum? While looking at threads here a *Super Moderator* name showed up. Now, are there regular, senior and super moderators? What do they do? (..Well I tknow they keep a lid on the profanity spewing low lifes.. and they close redundant threads..) but where do they lie on the scale ..??? .. closer to the thought police or near the waterbuffalo in a pants suit?

Habeeb, check the "forum leaders" button at the bottom of the main screen. That should give you an idea about how it works.

We moderators are just as nuts as everyone else on the board here, we just keep the place clean and civil. :D

so i guess the real question is how do we all become moderators

exemplify your maturity, enthusiasm for the board, ability to think, and that you can spend enough time here, then ask/volunteer...

Why do I wanna know??? Well.. I usually find that when playing ball it is helpful to know the rules of the ballpark.. It is also wise to know a bit about the umpires. ...and as a game can be swayed one way or another by both rules and umpire whims.. well, you get the idea. Ok, maybe the *thought police* comment was a bit hard..
