Yesterday (Monday December 8, 2008) I was in a accident. (story time) I was making a U-turn from a side street but traffic was extra heavy so I was sitting at a stop sign waiting to go. Some lady in a green Honda civic stopped traffic to let pull through. Taking advantage of her generosity I start to pull out onto the street (S.W. 152nd st and 104ave.) and I see 2 cars on the opposite side of the street moving pretty slow. As I watch them pass by, I start to move up so I can go on my merry way. I honestly didn't see a car coming and the front of my car is smashed. I got hit by a Cobalt Lt sedan (Rental car) The people that hit me aren't even from this country, they were visiting from Venezuela. The driver side front axle is snapped along with a brake line.

Ouch, that means it was your fault. That sucks. Good thing you're ok.

I really don't know. If they don't then i'll just have to move on to another car.

The state trooper that issued me the ticket said that I can take it to court but he won't show up so its dismissed, and I won't get any more points on my license.

Dam, he just bluntly told you that?? That's awesome!

I suppose if you get it fixed you'll want to put on a 24 inch lift so you can see better.

The officer was really cool about it. There were three officers checking out my 8. I think they were looking for my missing exhaust tips.

Me also. This wasn't a manufacturers error. This was driver error. Your insurance is there to cover this.

Im okay, my knees hurt a little bit but the pain is going away.
Honestly speaking/typing, I don't want it fixed. If anything I'll get another car depending on what the insurance says. It's an '04 At so you can somewhat see why I really don't care if its fixed or not.
