If you gonna inverse the typical two tone scheme(black top and colored bottom) you should try carrying that scheme over to the wheels, i.e. paint them orange...

+1on the first 2 comments. interior would look better if you had all black leather. looks good, but it could be better. i dont think orange wheels is that great of an idea. maybe orange lip. like axis super hiros with an orange pinstripe

It's nice but needs more orange on the outside IMO.

Need better pics, a body kit of some type, some different rims, a drop, and for goodness sake wash and vacuum the car before posting pics and asking for comments..... hey, sorry just my opinion.

Dont like at all the way it sits, but its a great foundation, I think it could be good with some more orange on the outside and more black on the inside.

Make the front bumper, front fenders, sideskirt area, rear fenders, and rear bumper orange.
Run through those pieces.

i agree with th poster a few up, at first i thought what the hell happened to this 8. but with a little more money you could make the car sick, maybe when you get your new rims get some black wheels with a decent lip and have the lip painted to match your car, a drop, and a body kit. I do agree though i would make a pinstripe do divide the two colors maybe silver and then paint your brake rotors to match the pinstripe. its comin along, could be one nice lookin ride in a couple or months

You need to do something that breaks up the black. Either do like a hockey stick stripe like on the 1st gen Camaros or go with a different color wheel. Maybe even put chrome wheel trim if you could find something like that. Just too much black on the bottom.

I guess now I know why stock rx8 never comes with orange....Sorry about saying this comment but thats really what I think; But definitly if u have aftermarketing body kits, it will look absolutely nice.

i think if you add some orange vinyl decal to the bottom black part of the 8 then it will look a lot better

i want to get black wheels with a nice size lip and paint that orange. ill try to get better pics up maybe in the sun. you cant tell in the pics but my pillers and headliner are black thanks for the comments i do think it needs more to look really good just a start little at a time. didnt want to go crazy with it am be to much orange and not like it

Sorry but I'm not diggin it. Two tone inverse, no drop, fogs...a lot actually. BUT you're getting there. I think you could make your scheme work with some careful decisions. I think a drop and body kit would do wonders and continue the copper through the hood and trunk following the body lines. And with some new wheels on there, I think it could work.

Major props for trying something different.

You should finish painting it all SOM. I think it would look really good then.

you know when i bought my car i posted on a local import forum asking peoples opinions...and im sure you all know how that went....rotarys suck yada yada rx8s are slow blah blah...and it occurred to me that I really dont care what people say...i love my car..and if you love your car thats all that matters...I dont care for the two tone but i see potential in the car....i think wheels would make a world of difference...

i agree with everyone it does need alittle more but not in a ricey way. after wheels i will decide if it needs more on the body. i dont have all the money in the world so it takes time for me. thats whay it doesnt have a body kit and wheels already. but soon
