I bought my car 2 weeks ago. The first week was magic and for sure the RX-8 thrilled me with speed. Two weeks of driving it and I want more. Its like the RX-8 entice you to run a little bit faster. Hopefully the need will be filled by Canzoomer's ecu.

I am actually coming from a corvette so for me, I miss the power (torque) but I am slowly learning how to drive a car with higher RPMs.
I would love to be able to get more power out of the RX8 but right now short of a major mod, Im holding out to see the long term effects of these mods, and what stories if any you guys get from the dealer concerning your warranty.

I've never owned a sports car, my last vehicle was a Jeep Wrangler. I am completely addicted to the handling and the speed. I've always had buyers remorse after buying a new vehicle, but not with this lovely baby. I loved my Jeep, but this is something entirely new. I will never get rid of my 8.

Totally different world for me after stepping off a Ducati 999R.

999R? Yuck.. that the homely 916 replacement? ;)
*Real* Motorcycles have 2-stroke engines and require some ability to ride quickly. IMHO ;)

Had mine since Oct and this was the first sports car I have ever owned. Also the first brand new car I have ever bought. no remorse even with the big monthly payment. Worth every last red cent and I think I would have paid more.

The car is evil, it makes me do bad things... I don't want to, but it makes me. I try and resist, but am helpless and completely under it's control, it even made me kick out the "good angel" at about 120. It makes me yearn for exit and entrance ramps and really twisty back roads, then embarasses me by making me pass other cars on 2 lane roads with a double yellow line.
evil, just plain evil.
Oh it's sooo good to be bad...
it also got me my first speeding ticket in 10 years.
