1. Simply changed batteries and the thing wouldn't start...it had to be towed. The relay on the starter went bad...it was fixed and it started up!

2. 5-days later...the battery light is on. At idle and close to idle there's a roughness and you can here low frequency popping (like a misfire). Now the idle speed is wierd as well. After letting off the gas the idle goes to about 1100RPM, then to 900 then up to 1000 and after a bit it'll go to normal. Drive-wise/power-wise...feels normal. Got power!

SO NOW WHAT'S WRONG? :wallbash:

Neutral switch maybe ?

and it sounds like your alternator is bad.

Wow...ya think that could cause the misfire/idle deal?

I also would say check the alternator(which they should have check while fixing the starter but prob did not)

if the alternator is not functioning, dont expect your car will function.

The problem here is that its hard to test Alternator. Sometimes when you test them under certain condition, it seems to be able to put out the right power (in our case its about 14.4 volt of power). but when u put it back on the car and run it with wires attached. U see something much lower than 14.x

So Its hard to tell. U have to monitor it.
