well, today started out pretty good but turned around pretty quickly. My wife and i went to church then went out for lunch today. After that we decided to go home and call some friends to see what their plans were. My wife wanted to try out her new camera and decided while i called my friends that she would take pics of our rides. About 15 min. later We decided to go hang out at my friends house and i would help him work on his four wheeler. When we walked outside i instantly noticed something wasnt right. My RX8 was still under the covered parking but my motorcycle was not beside it. I looked around thinking one of my friends might have moved it just to joke with me but it was nowhere to be found. My wife asked my neighbor if she had noticed anybody near my bike. She said she had seen a truck with a motorcycle trailer behind it moments earlier and a man walked it into the trailer and took off with it. By this time we had already called the police and a few minutes later an officer arrived. As of this time they have no idea where my bike is. The officer that i talked to told me that a courtesy officer in the area had seen the truck leaving with my bike on the trailer and noticed a company name on the side of it. That, along with my neighbors description of the man, sounded like a pretty good starting place to finding my bike. I received a call from the officer a while ago and he said it was a fake company name so they have no leads. This really sucks. My bike was brand new i only had it for 5 months. Im still glad it wasnt my 8 that was stolen, but still angry that my bike was stolen. Well, that is how my day went. Just wanted to vent a little bit.

i just called the officer and he said they have no leads for the time. The claims adjuster said to give it some time to see if they recover it and if they dont find it then they will pay off the bike. He didnt say anything about helping to replace it with another. Its not that bad i guess considering i wanted a bit bigger bike so my wife could ride without being so uncomfortable.
8maniac it was a pearl blue 2008 hyosung GV650. I know its a no name brand/cheap bike but it looked pretty good and ran really good. It was the perfect bike for me(without being the harley i wanted) because it had the cruiser style with a crotchrocket engine in it.
