Hi.
STANDARD QUESTIONS: Where - what country - are you located? What year is your car?
From Mazda's TSB to dealers: "A cranks, no start condition may be caused either by fuel flooded spark plugs or lower than normal compression due to apex seals locked into rotor groove from carbon accumulation."
Link to the TSB: http://www.finishlineperformance.com/pdf/rx8/bulletin/01-015-08-1883f.pdf
Take your car to the dealer for a compression check. If you are in North America, your engine will be replaced if defective.
You may have to pay for diagnosis - which will be refunded if this is warrantable.
Good luck/.

Where are you located?
In Canada and USA, the warranty on the engine internals (and seals/gaskets) has been extended to 8 years 100k miles / 160k km, specifically because of the losing compression problem. You do not have to be the first purchaser of the car.
If you are in the rest of the world, then search this site for Mazda's "Zoom Power" engine cleaner or "Seafoam". Many have reported increased vacuum / compression following treatment
