I just installed my Holley Sniper Set up, got everything wired and installed. But it dosen't feel like the increase i was expecting at all. I'm running a .036 N2O jet and a .018 fuel jet. N2O pressure is currently at 700 as i havn't installed the heater yet.

I installed the nozzle on the bottom of the intake, was this the wrong place? does it need to be at the top of the Intake track?

What is the fule pressure on an RX8 supossed to be? I understand it's between 58 and 60 PSI which is what i used to select my jets.

The nitrous and fuel defintly spray, i've seen it spray while we were sitting in the shop and testing everything out.

I'm in NE PA so if there's anyone around willing to give it a look over, great, if not, any infomation i can get on here would be great, TIA!

700 is way too low. You want it at least at 950 but ideally more like 1100 psi. Take the bottle out, put it in hot water and wait for the pressure to get near 1100. Then take it out of the water, put it in your car, and you should see a big difference. Don't over heat it, watch the gauge when you have it in the water. Or get a small 110v space heater and put it in your trunk for a while.

 

i didn't even catch that about the nozzle. Maybe its too low on the bottom.

Sorry i havn't given any feedback, to busy with work.

The car goes in for service for a bad oil pan gasket friday so after that i'm going to install a buddy's bottle heater for a while, since it's 34F out here, it's prolly not gonna heat up much without one.
