Any PGR2'ers here? I picked this up used yesterday and spent last night getting the RX-8 unlocked. I'm glad the 8 is in the game, but it's not too terribly impressive. No spoiler, strakes, rotary symbols, nada ... but then the blue _does_ have blue leather inserts *shrug*

Yea I love it. I got the #2 spot online right now with it in Time Attack - Car Challenge.

I really like this game as I did its predecessor, but I still hate the AI. The street races usually end up being demolition derbies because the AI has no reservations about ramming you into a curb or rubbing up on your rear bumper causing you to spin. The only way I've found to win is to try to get ahead of the pack asap.

Yes, the game is great, but I think the RX-8 is a bit too loose on the game. It's very easy to break the back end. Personally I think the handling on the S2000 should be swapped with the RX-8.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I spend most of the time power sliding in the game, and I have yet to do that IRL. Although, I'm sure they don't have DSC/TC "turned on" in the game.

btw, Geometry Wars is an awesome game in itself. Makes me wish I had a dual arcade joystick.

I have been playing it for a week (off and on). Looks great but I hate the 'kudos challenges' where you have to drive in a silly 'dying fish' fashion to get through it. The normal races are good and the graphics are great, but I am already somewhat bored (only through 4 sections so far with most of the cars unlocked).

Anyone try Sega GT online - I thought the first version (Sega GT 2000) was incredible. I don't have time to play online so would only get the game if it was a big step up from the earlier version withou going online.

Shame GT3 or GT4 is not coming to XBOX. Sega GT is suppposed to be a cut-down version of this.
