dude, i'm here. this sounds great. But i don't see a Jan 3 event on your calendar, just a Jan 1 thing from Orange County to Temecula. btw, I like the page. I'll make sure to check it from time-to-time. Sorry I missed the go kart thing.

I"m in, are other makes welcome. I just did a palomar run on the 20th with the covette forum. 18 cars total and I was the odd man out with the 8. I'd like to invite some of the vette guys up if you guys are cool with it. Good folk, and showed total respect for the 8 going up palomar. Couldn't shake me and sometimes couldn't keep up. Let me know and I'll put the word out on their forum.

John

... snip ...

The meet time wasn't on the website, well - except in a really big font as the title, so apparently that made me glaze right over it.

Hopefully I'll see you guys there.

Simon.

A good run - over 200 miles!!

Only one minor mishap being a flat tire caused by a rock, resulting in a bent rim and split bead :(

Another one

Last one - it's good to know an FD spare tire donut will fit on the rear of the rx-8

Haha. It took me 2 hours to get home!!! Pretty much sucked, but then again, having hit a rock that size at that speed, I'm just thankful I didn't wind up "meeting a tree". Thanks again to Mike though for lending me his spare. Discount Tire wants $450 to repair the rim and put a new tire on it. I decided I'm going to go with new rims though. Help me decide! Dang if I had known about this earlier I could've gone. I had to drop off my aunt at Lakeside, but i took the navigator. I did see an NSX cruise though. I wanted to be in my 8 to greet 'em 'hello'.
