A salesman at my dealership had his 8 stolen.They found the car and it was stripped and torched. Before he could recover what was left,somebody picked it up with a flatbed. The car is now AWOL,nowhere to be found. This all happened on the West side of Buffalo,not the safest area of town.

oh well, at least after the first time it was a total loss, so the second didn't really count. It was merely an insult.

Make sure he checks w/Police Dept AND Sheriff's Office. It may have been towed by one of those agencies bein an "abandoned" vehicle. If the VIN was still readable, it will be entered in the system as being an abandoned vehicle and will say which wrecker yard it's at.

Hope they find it.

Unfortunately Ignition Immobilizers aren't all that effective. They stop your usual smash&grab guys, but not anybody that knows what they are doing. :confused:

Keep your eyes peeled on partstrader.com or ebay...

What was missing form the car, if you know? If any engines, etc appear on ebay...
