You read my mind, good sir. There are so many things I want, and I'm begging people to buy them now for me.

I have that engine model and, trust me, it is really not really worth the money.

1) While the engine is clear, you can barely see the rotors turning in the housing through the clear plastic

2) The engineering is terrible and the rotors constantly get caught against the housing and, rather than spin, proceed to burn up the electric motor that powers them.

3) The parts don't fit together very well at all and, in trimming them, its very difficult to not scratch the clear plastic surface

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but as a rotary enthusiast mysef, I was very disappointed in the final product.

I was actually thinking the exact same points on it, wondering about how it ran. If anything, it would be a good little 'trophy' type of item...but for that money, that's depressing. I wonder if anybody else makes something similar.

Not that I have found. The only that I have found that works really well for demonstrating to someone how a rotary works is the little keychain that spins. I agree with you that it is a shame that no one has come up with a good rotary model

I've already got the keychain! Well, I'm still tempted to buy that model, mainly so I can say I've finally got one....maybe I can ask some friends to nab it for christmas
