Is it possible to swap engine from others cars, like BMW, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Honda etc.
:dunno:
Which one could be the most suitable?
I like this car, but I am afraid of the rotary engine life that are not long.
I would like to hear your ideas and experience :wavey:

And you're sure you'll have no problems putting a foreign engine into a car with a perfectly good one?

As far as I am aware there are no "kits" for a swap so it would have to be a custom job from the motor mounts to the drivetrain etc.

Unless your doing the work yourself, you'd easily outspend yourself from what the cost of a new Renesis would be.

Just my opinion.

A well maintained rotary will last a fair time. There are things you might want to check if buying a used one but if you go for a new one then just follow a good break-in time and do some reading here ;)

Yup its a fact, the renesis only lasts 90k miles. It also burns a quart of oil a day and you can only turn it off if it has been running for over 1 hour to prevent flooding
