Long story short:

Installed Mazdaspeed springs and shocks this past Saturday. Very nice. Tightened the car up just the right amount for my taste. I am sure they would be a little soft on the race track but for a car that I live with day to day they feel great. Still have stock roll bars so I'm sure there is still room for improvement.

But I would heartily recommend this set up. The car still has the same feel, just more of it.

Now if I could find some way to shorten up the steering ratio......

How's the new suspension on the highway? Not too jumpy over freeway spacers?
Anything else important to note?
I'm looking to pick up the Mazdaspeed shocks and springs this winter...
Thanks

Sorry I dont have any pics yet but if you have seen a mildly lowered RX8 then you have an idea what it looks like. Advertised drop is 0.8 inches, and it seems to be so.

I undid the upper A-arm bolts instead of breaking the ball joint loose. I drove around the block before tightning the A-arm bolts all the way. This seemed to allow the springs to lower immediately. I have heard stories about the springs needing time to "settle" but mine appeared lower from the get go.

A little choppier on the highway/roads. Mostly due to firmer shocks I think. Not too bad. You can feel the car is more responsive. For a street driven car I think this set up is just right. And the price is hard to beat as well. Prices vary but I purchased a set for 670ish includding shipping.

Great, sounds like a good choice for everyday drive-ability.
