Does anybody knows what's the widest rim size I can go with 19" in the back, and what would be the perfect tire and offset?

mazdatrix did 18X10 in the rear
and some people have done 19X9.5 in the rear

Yeah, as the matter of fact, I might go with 9.5's instead, is not like a got a damn Lamborghini or Viper. :D

the rx8 has huge fenders and I plan to take advatage of that

With the correct offset and maybe even some slight fender mods, you can definitely go with a 19x10 and with a 285 width tire.
